Easy Healthy Hummus
I use hummus a lot in my salads or as a snack. It can be very easy to make, filled with nutrients and versatile. I often make some and keep it stored in the fridge for the week.
Ingredients:
- 1 can organic chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- ½ – 1 lemon, juiced
- 1 clove garlic
- 3 tbsps olive oil
- 2-3 tbsp tahini
- 2 tsps cumin
- Sea salt and pepper
- Add water for creamy consistency
Add all the ingredients to a mixer/ nutribullet or food processor. Mix on high speed and add more liquid if you want a creamier, softer texture. I will season to taste, adding more cumin, tahini or lemon if needed.
